The club flourished in the 1980's, has survived the lean times of the 1990's and once again flourishes in the new century with new found optimism under Lawrie Sanchez. The club continues to be a family based club with many fathers, sons and daughters on our books. Many charities and local players have benefited from the club over the last 25 years and it's a proud tradition that will be carried forward.
Now in this year 2007 the First Royal club has been in existence and has been supporting Our Wee Country through thick and thin for over 25 years. Membership has rocketed however owing to the demand for match tickets application is restricted and all applications put on hold.

The current team are on the verge of emulating the heroics of the 1980's by reaching a major Championship final but whatever the outcome Cookstown Nisc will remain in existence and travel the roads for many years to come. We've come this far so no way are we giving up now !!
now boast a membership of 80+ Clubs. The club recently celebrated their 25th year on the road with a gala dinner attended by John O'Neill, Derek McKinley ( celebrating 25 years as kit manager), Raymond McCoy, Gerard McMahon and the British Championship Trophy. It was indeed a proud night with many stories to recall about the photos and memrobillia on display.

About Us - Over 25 Years Supporting "Our Wee Country"

Summer Barbaque.
The club will be holding it's annual summer charity barbaque in Cookstown Hockey Club on Saturday 21st June.

Tickets are limited and priced at £15 which will include a steak bbq, complimentary glass of wine and a disco to burn off all those calories.
