Those were the heydays when members of the club were at both the Spain and Mexico world cups, witnessed that night in Hamburg during November 1983 when we beat the mighty West Germans on home soil, witnessed us become British champions in 1984 and more recently were out in force for the memorable nights when we beat the England, Spain and Sweden on home turf. Friday 13th August 1982 was an exceptional date to be remembered as the members welcomed the legend and sadly the late George Best. It was a special night as the beautiful Mary Stavin, a former Miss World, had accompanied George on his visit to The Royal Hotel.

Summer Barbaque.
The club will be holding it's annual summer charity barbaque in Cookstown Hockey Club on Saturday 21st June.

Tickets are limited and priced at £15 which will include a steak bbq, complimentary glass of wine and a disco to burn off all those calories.
